By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

Description of Services

Lunaris is a word processor for individual professionals and teams, from startups managing internal documentation to lawyers drafting contracts, researchers organizing their work, and authors writing manuscripts. The Services include features such as cloud sync across devices, real-time collaboration, offline access, and content management tools. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Services at any time.

User Accounts

To use certain features of the Services, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

User Content and Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store through the Services, including manuscripts, notes, outlines, and other writing-related material ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

By using the Services, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your User Content solely as necessary to provide the Services to you, including cloud sync and collaboration features. We do not use your User Content to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems

Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content provided by Lunaris (excluding User Content), are owned by or licensed to Lunaris and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Services except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease, and we will delete your User Content from our servers, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lunaris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, regardless of the theory of liability.
