Terms of Service
Last updated on July 21, 2026.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lunaris workspace platform, our website, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Lunaris (“Lunaris,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
Description of Services
Lunaris is a configurable workspace platform for individuals and teams. The Services may allow you to create and organize projects and workspace items, work locally or offline, sync content across devices, collaborate with others, and add extensions or AI-enabled workflows. You choose which available features to use. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Services at any time.
User Accounts and Workspaces
To use certain features of the Services, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Workspaces may have owners, members, and permissions made available under the applicable plan. Workspace owners are responsible for managing membership, access, and the workspace plan. If you join a shared workspace, its owner and authorized members may access User Content according to the workspace membership and permissions.
User Content and Ownership
You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store through the Services, including projects, documents, boards, notes, and other workspace items (“User Content”). We do not claim ownership of your User Content. You are responsible for User Content you add or share and represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to use that content through the Services.
For User Content you transmit to the Services, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit that content solely as necessary to provide the features you choose, including cloud sync, collaboration, extensions, and AI-enabled workflows. User Content in a local-only workspace remains on your device unless you enable cloud sync, share it, or otherwise transmit it to the Services. We do not use User Content to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Plans and Billing
Lunaris offers free and paid plans. Plans apply independently to each workspace, and the workspace owner is responsible for selecting and managing its plan. Paid plan pricing is based on accepted workspace members, including the owner. Pending invitations reserve available member capacity but are not billed. The price, billing cycle, and applicable plan limits are shown before purchase.
Checkout and plan changes are initiated through Lunaris, while Polar processes payments and provides the portal used to manage payment methods and cancellation. When paid access ends, the workspace returns to the Free plan. Existing content will not be deleted or locked solely because of that downgrade, but creating additional items or adding members may be blocked while the workspace exceeds Free plan limits.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
- Use the Services to transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Use automated means to access the Services without our prior written consent
Intellectual Property
The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content provided by Lunaris (excluding User Content), are owned by or licensed to Lunaris and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Services except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. A workspace owner may also remove your access to a shared workspace. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law.
Upon account deletion or termination, your right to use the Services will cease. User Content stored only in a local workspace remains on your device. Synced User Content associated with your account will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy, while content you shared in a workspace with other members may remain part of that workspace. You should export any User Content you wish to keep before deleting your account.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lunaris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, regardless of the theory of liability.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after any changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
