Privacy Policy
Last updated on July 21, 2026.
Lunaris (“Lunaris,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the Lunaris workspace platform, our website, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Information We Collect and How We Use It
When you create a Lunaris account, we collect basic account information such as your name and email address. We also collect information about the workspaces you create or join, such as workspace membership, roles, and subscription details. We use this information to authenticate you, manage your account and workspaces, provide collaboration features, and communicate with you about the Services.
When you use Lunaris, you may create or add content such as projects, documents, boards, notes, and other workspace items (“User Content”). User Content in a local-only workspace remains on your device unless you enable cloud sync, share it, or otherwise transmit it to the Services. For synced workspaces, we process and store User Content to sync it across devices, make it available to collaborators, and provide features you choose to use, including extensions and AI-enabled workflows.
If you request a workspace consultation or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, work email, company, company size, and details about your workflow. If a workspace owner selects a paid plan, our billing provider processes the payment and we receive subscription and transaction information needed to manage the plan.
We also collect technical, usage, and diagnostic data when you use the Services. This may include browser, device, and operating system details, IP address, device identifiers, feature interactions, general usage patterns, and error or performance information. We use this information to operate cloud sync, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and improve the Services.
Information we collect may be used for purposes such as:
- Providing and maintaining workspaces, cloud sync, collaboration, extensions, and related features
- Authenticating users and managing workspace membership, subscriptions, and billing
- Responding to support requests, consultation requests, and other communications
- Monitoring performance, protecting the Services, and improving features and functionality
- Complying with applicable legal obligations
Your Content and AI Training
Your content is yours. We do not use your User Content — including documents, boards, notes, or other workspace items — to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We process User Content only as needed to provide the Services and the features you choose to use.
Sharing, Retention, and Security of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including infrastructure and hosting, billing, product analytics, error and performance monitoring, and transactional email. Information is shared only to the extent necessary for these providers to perform their services. We may also share information at your direction with members of a workspace you join or collaborate in, or disclose information if required by law or a valid legal request.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining business and billing records, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information and User Content associated with your account from our active systems, subject to legal retention obligations, limited backup retention, and content that remains part of a workspace shared with other members.
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. User Content transmitted to Lunaris is encrypted in transit, and synced User Content is encrypted at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices, Updates, and Contact Information
You may choose not to provide certain information to us, though doing so may limit your ability to use some features of the Services. You can choose a local-only or synced workspace and, for synced workspaces, choose between available US and EU storage regions. You can export or delete User Content and delete your account through the application. Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information under applicable laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after any changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
